From her days growing up on the shores of Lake Superior (the world's largest lake), Susan has always been inspired by the water and the natural beauty that surrounds it. Life has since taken her from Thunder Bay to Boston, on the Atlantic Ocean, and then to the Cayman Islands and the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean Sea. Today, Susan and her family live just outside Halifax, Nova Scotia, an area graced not only with the Atlantic but also with a wealth of lakes. Her jewelry studio looks out over Five Island Lake, a location that serves to inspire many of her designs.
Using sterling silver embellished with semi precious gems like moonstone, labradorite and Swarovski pearls, Susan creates pieces that capture nature, from trees and birds to shells and oceans.
No matter what the inspiration behind them, every piece of jewelry that Susan creates is handcrafted and one-of-a-kind. No two pieces are exactly alike, making your purchase a piece of personal expression.
