As a Metis artist, born in Alberta I arrived in Nova Scotia 16 years ago to achieve my Bachelor of Design at NSCAD University and studied my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology at Dalhousie University and Athabasca University. I have always believed Art and Psychology go hand in hand – both as a way of expressing ourselves and to understand our thoughts and others’ perspectives through creative visions.
I have a passion for painting clouds and spirits. Clouds are so symbolic of life. In just one moment the clouds pass and are forever changed. Clouds remind us to be mindful and present. Through painting clouds I connect with the universe and the spirit of my ancestors and am reminded of the beauty of a simple life being in peace and harmony with nature.
I have been a professional artist since 2009 with my paintings currently hanging in public and private galleries across Canada and the United States.
